Oil Additive Blending

Working in the Oil & Gas Sector ltek was tasked with retrofitting a new control system to a critical key blending machine. For optimising process and costs savings the 110KW motor start delta was replaced with a G12OC VSD, the new control system replacement housed S7-1200 PLC and basic HMI to give the client overview and optimsied operation. Coupled with remote access control ltek delivered this solution in 2023.

No existing drawings, no information around the crtical machine, application and electro mechanical engineers worked backwards de-engineering the entire system to be able to deliver the project in a short period of shutdown. The client continues to save energy and optimise their procedures all whilst learning about their process
